Art and Wine Event! Satisfy Your Senses: FVRL Foundation Fundraiser at Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar
Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar, in conjunction with four professional artists, will host the sixth annual Satisfy Your Senses art show and sale July 27-29, 2018, to benefit the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation. Latte Da is located at 205 E. 39th Street in Vancouver. This event is free and open to the public.
This year’s event will showcase artists Kathleen Hovis (jewelry), Bonnie Junell (paintings), Edi Olson (paintings), andJeanette French (paintings). The opening night of the event (Friday, July 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) will feature a spotlight reception where attendees can meet the artists and enjoy wine flights for sale from Basel Cellars, Burnt Bridge Cellars, and Pomeroy Cellars; complimentary appetizers provided by Latte Da; and music by Anchored. The art show and sale continues through the weekend, and guests can view art both indoors and on the covered patio.
On Saturday, July 28, the event is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and features music by Jeremy Tuell from 1:00 to 3:00 and Smoke and Embers from 3:00 to 5:00. Flights of wines from the three wineries will be available from 1:00 to 4:00.
The final day of the show and sale will be Sunday, July 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Musician Brad Jensen will be performing from 1:00 to 4:00. Sparkling wines and mimosas will be available for purchase from 10:00 to 1:00. There will also be a raffle for one of Bonnie Junell’s original oil paintings, valued at $1,050. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each, and the drawing will take place Sunday, July 29, at 2:00 p.m. The winner need not be present to win.
Satisfy Your Senses will benefit Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation by donating 10% of food, beverage, and art sales, and 100% of raffle ticket proceeds. FVRL Foundation seeks to support the programs and services provided by Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries and to inspire reading, lifelong learning, and community interest and involvement.
