Dan Clark - Vice-Chair

Commercial Real Estate Lender - iQ Credit Union

Dan Clark has been working in the financial services industry for over 35 years, starting as a teller in college and working up through the ranks to a senior commercial real estate lender.  He has always enjoyed working closely with clients to provide financial solutions for their short term and future business plans.  Dan feels that smaller credit union cultures provide the opportunity to develop a stronger relationship with clients which is key to providing the right solutions.

A Clark County resident for 30 years, Dan and his wife, along with their two adult daughters, enjoys camping, attending college football games, and walking their furry four-legged children.  A Rotarian for 20 years, Dan has served as Past President, Club Foundation President, and Community Service Chair.   Dan serves (and has served) on a number of non-profit boards, current Treasurer, Executive Committee, Investment Committee for the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation and Board President private school.    For 15 years, Dan served on Parks Foundation Board, serving in many roles including Executive Committee, Treasurer Board of Directors for Three Rivers Land Conservancy, and finance committee Columbia Land Trust.

Why the Library:
"Ensuring that the children in our community have access to books and programs is essential to their development.  When my children were growing up, we spent hours reading and going to the library as they learned and explored new worlds.  My hope is that all the children in Clark County have the opportunity and access to books that will grow their minds as they become adults in our community.   We have some of the best libraries in the country and that does not happen without a lot of work and dedication by staff, volunteers, and generous donors from the community."
